About me

My bio
I have always had a keen interest in language and an eye for detail. I have a BA in English Literature and an MA in English Language and Linguistics, which has given me a strong foundation on which to build my proofreading skills.
I am a member of The Editors' and Proofreaders' Association of Northern Ireland (EPANI) and an Intermediate Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), having completed several of their professional proofreading courses, which guide the standards and care I bring to every project.
I have been involved with a wide variety of projects - proofreading websites, books, dissertations and reports. So whether you are an author working on a manuscript, a student refining your dissertation, or a business or charity trying to produce clear communication, I would love to help you make that the best it can be.
Testimonials

From our first meeting about the project her communication was clear, she delivered quality work to schedule and was very responsive to any queries - an invaluable, professional service!"
Dr Caroline Millar - Doctoral student
"I worked with Louise on a number of children's books prior to self publishing. Each time, her proofreading greatly improved the text. She has an expert eye for grammar and typos, as well as a great feel for style and meaning. She is also a pleasure to work with. Recommended!"
